Welcome to the site of
Olympic Hopeful Hammer Thrower,
Caltha Seymour
Well, I gave it my all here in Europe, but it wasn't good enough to make the Olympic team for Jamaica. The experience has meant the world to me.
I am here in Germany spending the week with a friend. I look to do some sight seeing today, eat some good food, relax, and not throw any hammers around for a few weeks.
I will return to North America next week to watch the Olympics with my family and start the job hunt.
Thank you very much for your love and support during my journey.

I am in Belgium. It's my home base for now.
France was good. I took 6th place, and won a few Euros :)
I am off to Estonia (23rd) next and then The Netherlands (26th).

Hey there!
I am in Cali, Colombia competing at the Central American and Caribbean championships. I compete Sunday morning July 6th at 8 AM PDT.
I placed 2nd at the Olympic Trials on June 29th and was selected to the National team. I have until July 23rd to throw the Olympic Games Standard in order to make the team for Beijing.
I will keep you posted on my success here in Cali. Sorry it has taken me so long to write, but we were delayed in traveling and it has been a little crazy!
Here is the website for the event: http://www.athlecac.org
Thank you for your continued support and prayers during my
Journey to Beijing.
